Built around your project

Comfortable, resilient flooring starts with the subfloor.

HDZ supplies and installs luxury vinyl plank flooring for homes, offices, retail, multifamily and light commercial spaces. We evaluate subfloors, moisture, transitions, layout and manufacturer requirements so the finished floor looks consistent and performs as intended.

LVP is practical, but it is not a shortcut around preparation. Uneven slabs, moisture, incompatible underlayment, restricted movement or poor transitions can create gaps, noise and premature failure. Understanding installation requirements protects the warranty and investment.

What we provide

For homeowners

LVP offers a warm, coordinated look with easy routine care, making it useful for active households and renovation projects.

  • Select the product based on room, traffic, pets and expected moisture.
  • Correct subfloor variations before installation to reduce movement and noise.
  • Plan transitions and plank direction across open layouts.
  • Follow approved cleaning practices and protect against scratches and high heat.

For commercial clients

For commercial spaces, product rating, rolling loads, cleaning, downtime and substrate condition deserve careful review.

  • Choose a warranty and wear layer approved for the occupancy.
  • Evaluate glue-down versus floating installation based on traffic and use.
  • Plan phasing, furniture movement and cure or return-to-service timing.
  • Document moisture and preparation requirements for concrete slabs.

Important to know

Better information creates better expectations.

“Waterproof” typically describes the plank material, not the entire building assembly. Moisture from below, flooding at walls and trapped water can still damage substrates and adjacent finishes.

Is LVP completely waterproof?

The planks may be waterproof, but water can still travel around edges or beneath the floor and affect the subfloor, walls or adhesive.

Does LVP need acclimation?

Requirements vary by product. We follow the specific manufacturer’s temperature, humidity and storage instructions.

Can LVP go over concrete?

Yes, when the slab meets flatness, moisture and preparation requirements for the selected system.

What is the difference between floating and glue-down LVP?

Floating planks lock together and move as a floor; glue-down planks adhere to the substrate. Use, traffic, layout and manufacturer requirements guide the choice.
